The Great Pillow Leap

I grabbed a handful of the heavy knit blanket hanging off the edge of the tall bed and hauled myself straight up hand over hand! Once my boots hit the smooth sheet, I took a running leap right into the pile of fluffy white pillows. Pffft! I sank right into the middle like a marshmallow trap! I kicked my legs like crazy and paddled both arms until my head popped back out into the open air. It was so soft and bouncy that after rolling across the whole mattress twice, I just flopped flat on my back to catch my breath.
