A Fluttering Curtain Catch
I noticed the sheer white window curtain caught tightly around the wooden crank handle, fluttering frantically like a trapped flag! Time for a morning rescue. I trotted onto the wide wooden sill, gripped the airy woven hem with both paws, and leaned backward with all my might to ease it free. The fabric released with a sudden whoosh, sending me tumbling into a soft stack of cloth napkins! An upbeat nod—just a breezy landing. I puffed out my chest, stood tall, and smoothed the sheer cloth until it hung neat and straight in the morning breeze.
