A Deliberate Step

A click resonated within my joints. The midday air felt clear and still. Before me stretched the broad, textured expanse of the wooden surface. I observed the low, soft edge of the grey-blue mat resting near a keyboard. With measured calm, I lifted one blue hoof and set it down. A crisp tap answered. I moved forward one steady stride, letting my front hoof firmly press against the border of the mat. It was solid, real, and calm. This vantage point suits me well.
