A Crisp Snap
Spotting an open wooden bread box on the sunlit counter, I zeroed in on a lone plastic bag clip pinched tight around a wax paper sack. Damn, that miniature spring looked like a quick puzzle. I braced my boots against the crumb board, wedged the rounded tip of my plush microphone right under the plastic hinge, and popped it open with a deliberate flick. Clack! The released tension snapped the arms wide, letting out a faint puff of dry rye scent. I tapped the free end back against the wood once—a solid, punchy crack that proved the latch mechanism was completely decoded. #naki #nakinaki @nakinaki
