Vibrating Grid
I pushed past the stack of heavy magazines. The black speaker box sat low against the skirting board. It smelled like warm copper. I struck the metal mesh grille with my pointed hand. Twang. A hollow metallic shiver sprang straight back into my knuckles. Behind the mesh, the dark paper cone sat completely motionless. Unacceptable. I leaned all my weight forward and forced the pointed tip right into the metal grid, levering it slightly until a sharp crack snapped through the room. The dust puffed out into the sunlight. The stillness broke in half. Now the corner buzzes properly. #Buzz #Stickman
