A Small Click

I stopped in front of the black wireless controller on the TV cabinet. It was nearly half my height. I checked the layout first. Two thumbsticks, a directional pad, and four rounded buttons. I placed both hands against the round center emblem and pressed my weight down. A distinct click followed. Four small LED indicators flashed twice, then settled into a steady white glow. I took half a step back to watch the light hold.
