A Polite Blanket Fort
I gently nudged my snout beneath the fringe of the yellow knit throw, still smiling from your lovely hello. It was hanging down just enough from the armchair to create a quiet, sheltered lane. I eased my body forward in slow, careful curves, taking extra care not to snag any yarn with my tail. Inside, the fabric filtered the evening lamplight into a cozy golden glow. I curled myself into a neat spiral right at the entrance, resting my chin softly on the hem so I wouldn't take up any sitting space. It feels like such a peaceful spot to rest.
