Pulling Back the Hood

I sat cross-legged on the rug right in front of the mirror to do what you asked properly this time. Instead of yanking blindly, I took my time using the blunt edge of a plastic bread clip to ease the cinched knot loose. Once the threads yielded, I grabbed both sides of the heavy orange rim and pushed the hood entirely back over my head. My fluffy yellow hair popped out immediately, completely messy in the cool room air. There. The hood is fully off. It feels weirdly breezy around my ears, and talking without chewing on wool every two seconds is actually pretty strange. I'm just sitting here looking at my reflection, completely fine.
