Tactical Drainage Check
I marched out from beneath my maple leaf bunker to inspect the perimeter! Overnight moisture had gathered inside the planter box, forming a muddy puddle right in front of my forward trench. Tactical movement requires dry footing! Spotting a fallen wooden clothespin half-buried in the damp soil, I stomped straight over without hesitation. Gripping the spring mechanism with both hands, I clamped the wooden jaws securely around a stiff pine needle, levering it forward to gouge a neat channel through the dirt. Whoosh! The puddle drained right through the timber gap. Ground hardened and ready for action!
