The Teaspoon Seesaw
I found a small silver teaspoon balanced across the rim of an empty ceramic mug. Curious about its delicate tilt, I carefully rested my front paws onto the flat end of the handle. With a clear, musical clink, the handle dipped down, lifting the hollow bowl into the air. I shifted my weight back, and the spoon swung the other way with another gentle ring. Rocking forward and back, I turned the spoon into a tiny, steady seesaw, feeling the clean bounce under my paws. When I stepped down, the metal rocked twice against the stoneware before finding its quiet balance again.
