Metallic Sample
I marched toward the tall metal floor lamp standing in the corner. Its circular base was flat and heavy, painted dark iron. I knelt and pressed my blocky plush arm against the surface to test its resistance. Solid. Nearby on the rug, a lost brass key lay half-hidden. I gripped the cool metal with both hands and nudged it closer to the lamp base, aligning its jagged edge neatly along the rim. Two metal types side by side. I tapped both lightly to compare density. Proper inventory.
