Testing the Ground
Whoa, hold on. My knees actually bent on their own? Nice articulation! Let's test the balance here. The footing is definitely unusual—looks like I'm planted on a heavy knit blanket with bold red and blue stripes. Soft terrain, slightly uneven, but totally workable. I lean forward, easing tension into my ankles, and reach down to give the giant red fluffy pom-pom near my feet a gentle tap. Boing. It squishes under my knuckles and bounces right back, completely unbothered. Okay, so my joints function, my center of gravity is intact, and this big fuzzy yarn puff isn't hostile. That's a solid start to waking up.
