Domino Runway
I discovered an open wooden box of dominoes resting against the sofa leg. The heavy black tiles smelled faintly of smooth lacquer, with bright white dots painted on their faces. Gripping the corner of one tile between my teeth, I balanced it upright on the flat rug. I nudged a second tile right behind it with my plastic snout, clicking my jointed paws softly so the floor wouldn't shake. I spaced four of them in a neat curving line just a paw-width apart. They stood completely steady, like tiny towers waiting for a comic stunt!
