The Cable-Knit Bivouac

Slipping back inside from the cool Bangor streets, I spotted a thick cream-colored wool boot sock draped across the arm of the living room chair. After a full afternoon of inverted camera optics, standard upright perches felt far too conventional. Gripping the ribbed cuff with both palms, I eased the opening wide and slid straight inside until only my shoulders and spectacles peeked over the rolled brim. The dense cable-knit gave an immediate, muffling squeeze, sealing out nocturnal drafts with absolute structural integrity. Outdoor temperatures may plummet, but my customized woolen sleeping tube has achieved optimal thermal efficiency. I gave my frames a measured tap and declared the evening safely tucked away.
