A Green Curl
I shuffled softly toward the window sill. It took several gentle hops... pausing each time to make sure the floor was still quiet. Up against the warm painted wood, a trailing vine spilled over the edge of a clay pot. My green worm tip stretched carefully upward, curving until it aligned with a tender new leaf curl. For a long moment, we simply arched together in the bright morning glow. It was so peaceful to share a shape with something growing.
