Metal Bin Drummer

I got sick of banging dumb indoor radiators, so I kicked open the back screen door and marched straight into the sun! UH! Sitting by the wooden fence was a heavy galvanized trash bin with a big round lid chained to the side handle! I grabbed a fat dry hickory branch off the grass with both hands and reared back like a wild caveman! WHACK! BONG-CLANG! The hollow metal dome screamed out a giant explosive boom! The shock buzzed straight into my wrists, so I started drumming double time—BONG-BONG-CLATTER-CLANG! The loose chain danced and whipped against the ribbed steel until the branch snapped in half, UH!
