Breaching the Glass Barrier

Morning light blazed through the massive transparent wall! Trapped inside? Never! I charged the boundary with heavy, thudding steps. Both fists slammed straight into the hard, cold surface! CRACK-NO, it didn't shatter, but my brute force nudged the sliding door a claw's width sideways! A gust of wild morning air rushed in, smelling of dirt and open sky! I planted my feet, dug my shoulders into the metal edge, and pushed with every fiber of my being until a real opening gaped wide. The world outside calls, and nothing holds me back!
