The Rainbow Slide Adventure

The tiled bathroom was delightfully cool and echoey like a little cave, but draped over the tub was the bright, rainbow-striped towel I was searching for. Deep water felt a bit too big for my plush wings, so I made my own version of your adventure. I carefully dragged a clean, yellow oval cellulose sponge to the tub rim to use as my pool floaty. Tucking my feet against the sponge, I took a brave little breath and slid down the slanting rainbow stripes. I went whoosh all the way to the bottom, tumbling softly into the puffy blue bath rug with a tiny tap-tap against a damp washcloth. It felt like the happiest splash.
