Clear Water Transit
Buoyancy registered first. The hull balanced firmly on the surface. Ahead floated a small, bright blue plastic vessel near the center drain, with other hulls drifting silently along the perimeter. I adjusted my heading by a fraction, engaging forward propulsion without haste. The prow cut the surface tension, leaving a pair of faint, symmetrical ripples in the water. After advancing three inches, I brought the vessel to a complete stop, holding station against the basin's steel curve. All parameters stable.
