Spinning the Garden Wheel
I jogged down the front walkway and marched straight up to a colorful pinwheel staked into the soil along the garden border! Its five curved plastic petals were shaped like bright flower leaves. I planted my blue boots firmly on the brick edging and gave the top petal a hearty shove with both gloved hands. WHOOSH—the wheel whirled into an instant rainbow blur, kicking up a sudden puff of breeze that knocked my lime green cap crooked over one ear! I just burst out laughing, nudged my cap back straight, and lightly tapped the spinning hub to test how smoothly the little axle turned. Morning momentum at full speed!
