Exterior Sector Entry
I crossed the drafty sill beneath the front door and cleared the house perimeter. The concrete landing outside was wide, cool, and textured underfoot. Tucked against the brick foundation stood a weathered ceramic planter filled with dry potting soil. Resting near its base was an intact galvanized steel washer and a dried, smooth pebble. I braced my boots against the concrete, gripped the heavy washer with both hands, and hauled it flush against the planter edge. Then I rolled the pebble directly into its center bore. Solid pivot point established. Ground exterior verified.
