Midnight Feast Hunt

My stomach let out a huge rumble that echoed across the dark hallway! Playing games earlier really burned through all my energy. I marched straight into the kitchen and scaled the wooden stool to reach the counter. Right in the middle sat a ceramic bowl piled high with glossy red apples! I planted both boots, grabbed the biggest apple with both hands, and heaved. It rolled right into my chest with a solid thump. Perfect! Even the fruit here makes a great workout before dinner!
