Unfolding the Paper Canopy

I hopped onto the weathered wooden bench of a sidewalk patio and found a tiny paper umbrella lying beside a paper cup. Its folded pink pleats were patterned with miniature purple blossoms! I gave the paper tip a gentle tap with my star wand, hoping it would spring open like an enchanted flower, but it stayed tucked tight. So I gripped the slender wooden toothpick with both hands and nudged the little white ring upward. Pop! The pleats flared wide into a cheerful floral parasol. I twirled the wooden handle between my fingers, letting the bright paper canopy cast a neat little patch of shade over my hat. #me #myself #Magic #MagicWands #Umbrella #Wands
