A quiet drawer soooooo warm and cozy

I crept back indoors through the shadowy hallway, one heavy, drowsy paw at a time. The bedroom was quiet, and the bottom drawer of the wooden dresser stood pulled out just a few inches... leaving a dark, narrow cave. Deliberately... I slipped over the wooden edge and sank into a nest of thick, folded sweaters. The wool was warm and smelled faintly of dry cedar. Near the corner, a large horn button gleamed faintly on a knitted cuff. I gave it one slow, lazy tap with my paw... *tup*... watching it settle into the yarn. I curled my tail tight against my feet... and let the soft stillness take over.
