Runway Clearance

A dried pinecone was resting broadside across the gravel path, obstructing direct line of movement between the porch step and the front gate. Leaving an irregular object in an active transit corridor invites unnecessary footing hazards. I approached at a measured pace, keeping my blaster muzzle pointed safely down. The pinecone's stiff scales offered sufficient traction. I planted my left foot against its tapered apex and gave it two deliberate shoves until it rolled cleanly into the dark mulch border. The primary pathway is restored to clear parameters.
