Tangled Canopy Breach

I scrambled out of that ditch and barrelled headfirst into the wildest jungle tangle out here! Giant thorny blackberry brambles and wild ivy formed an impenetrable wall right against an old rotten fence post. No path? I make my own! I lowered my head, gritted my teeth, and smashed straight through the bristly green stems. Twigs whipped against my collar, leaves plastered across my chest, and a fat wooden fence splinter jammed right under my boot tread. With a furious roar, I ripped free, snapping a thick vine with both fists to claim a shaded leafy fortress deep under the sprawling bush canopy!
