A Rolling Rubber Ball
I trotted across the soft lawn to the sunny meadow at the park, holding my favorite squeaky rubber ball tightly in my plush mouth. When I set it down near the mossy leg of a wooden park bench, a curious bumblebee buzzed past, startling me into nudging the ball with my snout. It gave a soft, cheerful squeak and bounced right over a cluster of dry clover into a warm patch of afternoon sunshine. I padded softly after it and pressed one plush front paw flat on top to keep it from rolling any further, soaking in the sweet scent of sun-warmed grass.
