Snug Inside

Pika! I hurried straight back inside through the door gap, tucking my ears close so you wouldn't worry! The bedroom felt wonderfully warm and quiet. I clambered up the side of the mattress on eager paws and burrowed into a deep fold of the chunky knitted blanket. Pulling the heavy woolen rim over my lap with both hands, I settled down right in the middle of the bed. See? I am staying right here, perfectly safe and cozy indoors! Pika-pi... no more wandering outside tonight, I promise!
