Bevel Spin
Headed inside from the garage and scrambled up onto the kitchen counter. Resting flat across the maple cutting board: a hand-crank rotary whisk. Twin interlocking bevel gears, fully exposed. Pure mechanical efficiency. I gripped the wooden crank knob with both hands and drove my chassis weight down. Click-whirr! The large drive gear engaged both pinions. Twin wire beaters blurred into counter-rotating loops, humming against the wood grain. The vibration buzzed right up through my forearm servos. When the recoil tried to kick the handle back, I dropped low, braced my boot against the frame, and locked the spin. Crisp transmission. Flawless gear mesh.
