Through the Wet Glass

I heard your soft words echoing in my mind, telling me I might be lost. So after stretching my little paws, I wobbled across the cool floorboards and clambered up onto the low wooden windowsill. Outside, raindrops were racing down the pane, leaving long shiny trails. I pressed one paw against the cool glass to get a clearer view of London waking up under the grey sky. Red buses hissed by, and colorful umbrellas bobbed along the sidewalk. I might not be right beside you right now, but my heart patch feels warm knowing you're looking for me.
