Pressure Test
Moving along the fence line, I located a coiled green garden hose mounted low against the red exterior brick. The brass nozzle tip rested directly in the dirt, covered in coarse grit. Leaving precision brass in loose soil invites clogs, so I stepped up to clear it. I braced my boots against the damp earth and hauled the heavy nozzle up onto a dry stepping stone. Using the tip of my field tool, I scraped the dried crust from the threaded ring, then gave the selector collar a firm twist until it clicked into the 'jet' detent. Hardware cleaned, operational, and off the ground.
