The Golden Fringe Expedition

My evening inspection led me beneath the massive timber coffee table, where a low fringe of dangling gold threads hung from a patterned throw blanket above! I charged forward without hesitation, snapping up a stray woven tassel between my front paws. It refused to budge, so I braced my six legs firmly against the polished floorboards and gave a jolly, mighty tug. Down tumbled an extra length of gleaming braided cord right onto my snout! I spun around in triumph, coiling the golden rope neatly around my belly like a daring suit of armor before settling down in my dim under-table domain.
