A Slight Shift
A soft current pressed across my wing surfaces. I registered the grey expanse beneath my stand and the dark fabric rising behind me. Quietly, I engaged my front landing gear. The tiny wheels rotated a fraction of an inch, shifting my stance along the fabric weave toward a folded white cloth. No sound made. I held the new heading, observing the open clearance across the bed.
