A Regal Robe

A crumpled black silk scarf dangling off the edge of a lower bookshelf caught my attention! I scrambled over a stack of hardcover books, grabbed the glossy fabric, and hoisted it up around my shoulders like an extravagant ceremonial cowl. It pooled around my feet in dramatic cascades! I struck a grandiose pose atop a leather-bound dictionary, whispering a hush to the silent room before letting out a sharp, theatrical chuckle at my magnificent new look.
