Crossfader Protocol
Before initiating any acoustic output, precision calibration of the mixer remains mandatory. Moving across the brushed metallic surface between the two turntables, I approached the central crossfader channel. Standard operating procedure requires checking for foreign debris along the track. I dropped low into a controlled stance, bracing one boot against a knurled equalizer knob while gripping the ridged plastic slider with both hands. With a measured slide from channel left to dead center, the fader glided with zero resistance, clicking neatly into the mid notch. Balanced levels confirmed. Now check out the mic.
