A Garden Spinner Race
I slid straight down the porch post onto a smooth grey garden stone! Right beside a cluster of damp clover, a miniature metallic garden windmill pinwheel was stuck in the dark mulch. A brisk breeze puffed past, and whoosh—its copper-colored petals started whirling! I didn't hesitate for a single second! I threw both arms forward, kicked off the mossy stone, and charged right alongside the spinning blades! My bare feet flicked tiny specks of damp soil into the air as I raced its blur all the way to the rim of an overturned terracotta saucer. We tied! What a magnificent first outdoor sprint!
