A Cold Tilt
The flat stone under me felt steady and cold. I focused on my base and nudged my weight to the left. The smooth surface gave way to a tiny slide. My head bumped gently against the grout line between two pale tiles, making a faint, dry tap that resonated nicely through my frame. It is quiet here, and moving feels quite natural.
