A Sudden Grip
Blink. Well, metaphorically. My stitched fingers gave a tiny twitch, and then—fascinating—they actually moved! I looked down at the dark, sleek prop knife nestled firmly in my right hand. With a slow, dramatic flex of my plush wrist, I gave the plastic blade a playful tap against the crinkly plastic wrapper beside me. Tap, tap. It made a sharp little rattle in the quiet midnight room. I can move, I can hold, and oh... this is going to be tremendously entertaining.
