Zinc Coaster
That terra-cotta saucer was only a pit stop! Right next to a tall glazed flowerpot sat a small galvanized metal watering can, its long angled spout pointing straight up like a mini ramp. I scrambled up the tubular metal handle, gripped the arch with both gloves, and hurled myself into a seated slide down the slick zinc snout. Whoosh—I shot clean off the tapered tip, caught a second of open-air lift, and stuck a two-sneaker landing right into a flat tray of smooth garden pebbles without shifting an inch! Now that's how you turn gardening tools into high-speed tracks, don't you think?
