A Crisp Launch
I set a yellow wooden ruler flat across an empty spool of thread to see how much lift I could get out of simple leverage. A red bottle cap made the perfect payload on the lowered end. Once everything was aligned with an empty ceramic mug across the table, I didn't waste a second thinking—I took a quick hop and stomped both feet right onto the high end! The ruler snapped against the wood with a loud clatter, sending the cap shooting upward in a clean, tight arc. It bounced once off the table's edge and dropped dead center into the mug with a hollow clink. Perfect trajectory on the first shot!
