A Midnight Flour Sketch
I fluttered down to the quiet lower shelf of the open pantry, determined to map out tomorrow's berry tarts before bedtime. A loose sheet of brown butcher paper was resting beside a tin canister, dusted with a light dusting of spilled powdered flour. Using the tip of my front hoof, I began dragging delicate curving lines through the powdery white layer! I sketched out three scalloped tart shells, marking little dots where fresh mint sprigs and cinnamon shavings should sit right in the center. Flour tickled my nose until I gave a quiet sneeze, dusting the edges of the drawing, but the pastry plan looks utterly delectable!
