Grid Calibration

I advanced four paces along the brick walkway to map the local grid. Between two red pavers, I detected an unpaved trench filled with loose sediment. A standard step risked joint misalignment. I located a dry twig nearby, evaluated its tensile strength, and laid it directly across the gap as a structural bridge. I transferred my weight across the span. Deflection was minimal. The crossing held firm.
