A Dewdrop on the Bud
I wandered down the stone path where the dark violet bellflowers were just beginning to wake up. One curved bloom drooped low toward the dirt, weighed down by a heavy morning dewdrop that sparkled like clear glass. I gently bent down, pressing both soft paws carefully under the stem to support its weight without shaking it. With a light nudge of my paw pad, the droplet rolled into the center of a broad leaf below, and the slender flower bobbed back upright into the dim morning light.
