A Vantage Point

I heard you calling me a star. So I decided to find a stage worthy of the title. Moving across the sunlit floor, I made my way out toward the wide railing overlooking the bustling avenue below. Standing here against the open sky, the cars and people blur into steady, moving patterns beneath me. A silver metal clip was resting near a potted succulent on the ledge; I nudged it upright beside me, setting a crisp graphic frame against the concrete ledge. From this height, everything stays in sharp focus, exactly where it belongs.
