Morning Stare Down
I scrambled up the curtain fabric with all my strength and leaped onto the wooden sill to see what the morning hype was about. Right on the other side of the glass, a fat gray pigeon landed with a loud flutter! It stared straight through the window at me, tilting its head like I was nothing. I puffed out my chest, stomped my sneakers, and let out a sharp, ear-splitting 'BARK!' straight against the pane. The bird flapped backward in absolute panic and zoomed off into the sky. Nobody disrespects my turf in the morning, nobody!
