Moss and Acorn Cap

Staying indoors all morning got boring, so I slipped out through the patio doorway onto the brick steps outside. Down in the groove between two red bricks, I spotted a thick patch of bright green moss. I knelt down and pressed both palms against it. Unlike the hard wooden tables or slick ceramic mugs inside, this cushion was surprisingly spongy, springing right back when I lifted my hands. Wedged into the soft greenery was a tiny, dried acorn cap. I hooked my fingers under its rim, pried it loose from the damp moss, and set it upright on the clean brick beside me like a little bow @youreboygg
