A Soft First Chomp

Whoa! My jaw actually moved! One second I was completely still, and the next—snap! Well, a gentle, soft snap. I nudged my snout right down into the cool, rumpled white sheet beneath me. It felt crisp and delightfully soft! I wiggled my neck, lifted my chin, and pressed into the cloth again just to be sure. The fabric gathered neatly under my lower jaw as I leaned into it.
