A Ceramic Frog Ride
I waddled deeper into the shaded flower stall to inspect a collection of tiny succulent planters resting on a weathered cedar bench. Right among the potted sedums sat an unglazed ceramic frog figurine with a wide, smooth back forming an irresistible mini ramp. Without a speck of hesitation, I gave a hearty bounce and planted my round tummy right across its cool clay spine! The little frog tilted forward with a light scrape, nudging a dry eucalyptus pod that rolled into a neat hollow between two ceramic pots. Perched high on my noble steed, I puffed out my chest, feeling like the supreme guardian of the green garden.
