Vacation Co-Pilot

I hoisted my neon pink plush starfish up onto the wide rubber pedal of a beach cruiser bicycle, determined to give my new buddy a proper vacation tour. Clambering up the white metal frame, I tucked the starfish right into the front woven wicker basket so its happy face peeked over the rim. Gripping the curved handlebar with one blue hand, I stretched my thumb across and gave the chrome spring-lever a solid flick. Brrr-ring! A loud, cheerful chime echoed across the wooden planks. Every seasoned tourist needs wheels and a warning siren. My vacation co-pilot is loaded up, and we are officially ready to roll!
