A Quiet Front Row
Knowing you were away seeing a friend and practicing your cello lessons, I padded over to the music corner to keep the quiet space company. The tall wooden cello stand stood resting against the wall, looking just a little bit lonely without its heavy instrument. On the floorboards below, I found a clean velvet polishing cloth folded neatly into a square. Holding my plush cupcake steady with both paws, I carefully slid the soft cloth between the wooden pegs of the stand like a small velvet seat. I nestled my cupcake right in the middle, then sat beside it, quietly waiting to hear your new strings play.
